Whenever people set goals, design, create, organize, and plan the learning experinces, they become Creators. It also means to get to be able to change the "paradigms" in educative fields, by getting to know the best ways to offer a new type of experience where the students can achieve their goals by being creative and exploring the Web 2.0 media tools, which become the the exact resource they need to become more creative, to learn in a dynamic way and to explore their own abilities and competences.

What for?
Education institutions, development centers, and especially teachers, are those responsible for keeping, preserving the connection between technological advances and learning and teaching processes. They become facilitators and suppliers of a new type of learning format, tailored in the new cultural context of the “digital literacy”, and must know how to use the new tools available in order to explore the many resources available pursuing for the establishment of originality, imagination, and creativity by building a futuristic and modern vision of knowledge transmission.
Why Web tools?
Global progress in cultural, scientific, economic, and especially technological fields, has produced a direct effect on the forms of teaching and learning development in society. Today’s learners use information technology and communication to work, study, and socialize. It is young people and children, especially "digital natives" who are giving a complete turnout to the educative system; since they live in a different environment, they learn differently, and develop new types of abilities and competencies.
Our main goal
Develop mental processes and skills to promote creativity, innovation, reflection, analysis, and decision-making related to the forms of teaching and learning in virtual and semi-virtual scenarios, available on the web 2.0 and more in the digital world.
Couse description
This course is part of the curriculum of Licenciatura en la enseñanza del idioma inglés con especialización en tecnología educativa, and it offers students a variety of learning tools and applications on new ways to learn in individual and collaborative environments, by developing self-learning processes, knowledge construction abilities, in order to explore and apply digital skills. The course is focused on the acquisition and practice of specific talents, attitudes, and learning processes to be able to produce and share content.
