Lab 4 Web 2.0 Standards - using Padlet
Using and getting to know Web 2.0 tools for education doesn't have to do only with using "links to motivate" students, it has to do with what they are expected to perform in order to learn effectively.
It also has to do with being able to pedagogically integrate the digital tools that Web 2.0, 3.0 and more, offer today.
In this lab we will learn more about the Web Standards provided by ISTE-NETS specifically about Students (check the link HERE)
In this site, you have to become a user, it is free. And we will also use it collaboratively.
Instructions:
1. Use the home site for ISTE Standards, find the window for Students (ISTE for students and for Students profile, and also for Teachers) Consult both documents and analitacally read them.
Then do the following:
2. Create a Padlet wall (name one member of the class to be the coordinator of this activity)
A wall is an "onile" virtual bulleting to publish information related to a topic. It is also a "space" to gather information and to share with other people.
We will edit a Collaborative Padlet Wall where all students have to collaborate.
You have received a link to the link to access the activity.
So go there, and then use the following content for supporting on the collaborative wall:
Standards For Students - Presential class and virtual courses.
Starndars for Teachers - Presential class and virtual courses.
Support with information related to the topics, by inserting images, titles, videos, comments, etc.
Whenever done, the coordinator will copy and paste the link to the Wall at the platform so everybody can see it. If you are online student you already have received your topic to work and support in this wall, so access the invitation from the coordinator and then do your collaborative work.
Remember to Be creative!

Together we are brilliant"
